Being filled with the Spirit is not a one-time affair but an on going experience. When Paul said: "Be filled with the Spirit [Ef 5.18], he conveyed the idea that we "keep on being filled with the Spirit". This is not a pond of water, but na ever-flowing Spring. We are to have these storehouses thar are available for use at all times. When the resources are needed, they will be there. When the "evil day" comes, we do not have to be dependente upon the circunstances around us, but rather on the resources of God!
